BMW Japan Corp. is a subsidiary of BMW AG, headquartered in Munich, Germany and acts as a wholesaler by importing and distributing BMW Group vehicles. Established in 1981 as Japan’s first 100%-owned subsidiary of a European car maker, BMW Japan Corp. has consistently led the import car business by setting various benchmarks in product, service and customer care initiatives. Additionally, a local Research & Development team takes care of technological observation, testing, concept examination and development of specific product features for Japan.
